A little weekend fun …

Colleen and I spent the weekend in Chicago. We had a blast! We went to see Niki in the Garden at the Garfield Park Conservatory. It was amazing. We went with our friends Ben And Christine and their kids Elijah and Colin. The kids loved it and so did we. I highly recommend it. Only a $5 suggested donation for adults and kids are free. I could live at the Garfield Park Conservatory. It’s my dream garden. If I ever win the lottery,...

Me on Today

Did you watch the Today Show today? Did you see me screaming in the crowd? I was there. The weather here got very, very stinky overnight. It is cold, sleeting. I was exhausted after about three days of scouring through the photos and choosing only the very best, as well as setting up the best possible way to...

It’s a good day.

Today’s a good day. The sun is shining. My dishes are clean. Noone can say I have breast cancer. I even went to the plastic surgeon this morning for my first boob fill. Yes, I have an expandable boob that will get filled with saline every two weeks for a while! It didn’t hurt much, which was a relief. She uses a magnet to find the port in the expander, then inserts a needle into it and injects saline. The needles gave me...
