Yes woman

Last night, after doing the dishes, straightening the living room, scrubbing the floors with a toothbrush and replastering the ceiling (ok, I lied: I never straightened up the living room), I sat down for some laundry-folding time in front of the TV. HBO has been running “Yes Man” this month and it was just the light humor I needed. When I first saw a preview for this movie when it came out in 2008, I was taken aback: did...

Two year blog-a-versary!

I’ve been in a wretched mood for a few days now. I’ve been crying off and on all weekend – for some good reasons, but mostly not. And even though I was aware I didn’t have very good reasons to be crying, I couldn’t stop. So, Troy asked me today if I was doing the movie-a-thon again this year. The what? Huh? What happens in Vegas, baybeeee!

Have I mentioned that I love to travel? I really do. I don’t even care where it is. Too bad I’m not looking for a mate. I’m surrounded by geeky men, who are terribly my type. It’s probably a 10 to 1 ratio of men to women. The...

No worries!

I’m going out of town for the weekend … you probably won’t hear from me until the middle of next week. No worries! I’ll be having a good time and so is Colleen! Even Petey is going to have a little boost – Troy is coming to spend the weekend with him!
